After studying both fine art and graphic art in the 1980s, Mark left the art world to pursue other endeavors. Then in early 2000, he bought a small point and shoot digital camera for a trip and his love for art resurfaced. The small point and shoot camera has long been upgraded for newer equipment, and since then Mark has been continuously pursuing his love of photography.

“Being born Oahu, I feel fortunate to have grown up in the islands where I am surrounded by beautiful scenery and a lively culture. I try to translate this, along with my love for travel, into imagery through the lens.”
